The Focus of Direction's Vision
Everything ever created by man was first born as a point of light within consciousness.
The focus of intention and attention — a ray of energy.Where it falls, growth is created.
What remains in shadow withers away into infinity.
The Energy of a product/project/life begins with the Knowledge of what to say “no” to. Lacking this leads to saying “yes” to everything and... to nothing.
...The ray scatters into hundreds of different points, and not one receives the necessary fire.
Everything smolders, burning only halfway,
the product’s flame never ascends to the heavens...
Most product creators do not ask such questions. They live responding to the demands of the “moment,” their ray directed not from within, but from without — by emails, calls, and demands. They only shine where they are turned by external forces.
To know what to say “no” to, you need a Source of Truth.
The Source of Truth consists of:
1) Intention. Intention = the reclaiming of control over the ray.
Intention is The One Thing That Matters. Its sole and primary purpose is to hold it in mind when making any decision and to filter all choices through its question:
“If all else were to be lost, what is The One Thing that must remain unchanged?”
This is the conscious choice to shine from the inside outward, rather than from the “outside inward.” And the answer to this question will point the way through any darkness.
2) Direction. Directed Intention shapes (and is shaped by) thinking and serves as another layer of discernment:
“Based on this Intention, how must one think about ____?”
3) Focusing — the lens through which all experience is refracted. It is the bridge between the inner light and the vision of the outer world, across which energy makes its transition into action.
“What is done concretely today/this week/this month/this year/always to act in alignment with this Direction?”
This is action that can be performed, verified, felt. Without this layer, Intention remains merely a fantasy.
The Source of Truth can be a simple note, a pinned message, a phrase on a café napkin, symbols on a bathroom mirror.
Forms do not matter. Only Intention and clarity matter.
Intention points the direction → direction leads to clarity → clarity leads to action → action leads to results. And now the ray shines upon the mirror.
What is the One Thing which, being nurtured, will create from all our “no’s” that most beautiful and resounding “OHHH YEAA!!!”?
